YuLife has partnered with Dai-ichi Life Insurance in Japan to redefine employee benefits In the Japanese market. Dai-ich made a £75M investment into YuLife back in 2022 and since then we have launched a successful pilot with Dai-ichi in which test users were provided with the YuLife app.
The role:
As YuLife expands rapidly in Japan, we’re looking for a dynamic Field Marketing Manager to take ownership of our local marketing strategy. This is a rare opportunity to shape our market presence from the ground up, working with a global team while directly influencing pipeline growth, brand recognition, and customer engagement.
You’ll define and execute the Japanese market’s field and partner marketing plan by organising high-impact events (1st and 3rd party), hosting joint events with partners, and building our brand through media and partner collaboration. Your work will directly contribute to lead generation, revenue growth, and positioning YuLife as a trusted brand in Japan’s insurance and benefits space.
This will be a contract position (renewable every 6 months)
Day to day responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Field & Partner Marketing
- Own strategy, development, and execution of demand generation programs, events (1st and 3rd party) and webinars. Collaborate cross functionally with the wider marketing team to drive email and nurture campaigns to maximise brand awareness and pipeline revenue.
- Developing and executing regional marketing plans aligned with regional sales director & global strategies to drive account-based engagement and pipeline growth
- Leading local demand generation initiatives in coordination with global teams, ensuring alignment with business priorities and sales objectives.
- Proactive focus on YuLife internal and external events. Planning, managing, and executing various regional marketing events, including conferences, webinars, and customer events - clear focus and measurement of ROI.

PR & Media Relations
- Own local media relations by building relationships with journalists, industry analysts, influencers, and experts on the ground to maximise YuLife's media presence in Japan
- Collaborate with partners to deliver impactful joint marketing campaigns.

The ideal candidate will have:
- Fluent Japanese and business level English communication skills
- 3-5 years of relevant work experience in field marketing, preferably in the BtoB SaaS or tech space
- 2+ years of working in a startup environment
- Proven track record in planning and executing demand generation campaigns and events.
- Understanding of the entire lifecycle from prospect to customer
- Data-driven mindset, with experience using metrics to guide decision-making.
- Comfortable working independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, international environment.
