The role:
In this role, you'll take YuLife’s mission to inspire life in Japan. You’ll work directly with our trailblazing marketing team to build a global brand that motivates, captivates and inspires everyone to live their best lives. You’ll create powerful, award-winning content for YuLife's brand in the Japanese market. You’ll help to make the complex simple and bring clarity to an industry that has traditionally been hard to understand.
Day to day responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- This role will be a critical member of the Japanese launch team. You will be responsible for working with the UK marketing team to build a content marketing strategy in Japan including organic social, paid ads, SEO, ebooks, whitepapers, case studies, industry research and videos - underpinned by content pillars and an editorial calendar.
- Build a content plan for marketing campaigns and social channels while ensuring all messaging and tone of voice are consistent.
- Create and publish high-quality content that embraces our company values and elevates our proposition in the market.
- Optimise and adapt the content plan continuously to meet KPIs such as web traffic, page views, and social engagement.
- Work cross-functionally and be responsible for producing consistently excellent content.
- Help build and execute a social media strategy tailored for the Japanese market that builds our business community and creates social buzz for our brand assets, customer stories, new product launches and events.
- Help to produce product enablement material for the Japanese market and sales team.
- Administer all company social media accounts including senior leadership LinkedIn accounts.
- Manage external marketing agencies and collaborate with them to identify trends and news opportunities.
- Monitor SEO and user engagement and ensure content is optimised
- Proactively manage briefing process and all external resources (eg. freelance or agency) to ensure that all projects meet their delivery times while maintaining brand integrity
The ideal candidate will be:
- Proficient in both Japanese and English
- Familiar with the Japanese Insurance and/or Finance sector
- You have 3-5 years of relevant work experience experience in marketing or communications ideally in a high-growth b2b business.
- You’re intellectually curious with a passion for learning and an genuine interest in transforming insurance into a force for good.
- Will have experience building and launching a product from scratch
- Familiarity with social media and creating content on social media
- An understanding of the entire lifecycle from prospect to customer
- Familiarity with key metrics such as CTR, CPA, Customer LTV
- You’re a self-starter, with experience working independently but also cross-functionally within a team.
- You are data-driven with experience using data to inform decisions.
