Key Account Manager – Healthcare

We are looking for a Key Account Manager – Healthcare to take ownership of one of our most important strategic partnerships: Bupa. This role will be central to unlocking revenue growth in Private Medical Insurance (PMI), Dental & Cash Plan driving success across Direct, Advisor, and Partnership teams.
The role:
The purpose of this role is to unlock revenue growth in PMI, Cash Plan and Dental products by strengthening YuLife’s collaboration with Bupa, building internal and external sales confidence, and positioning YuLife as a trusted, knowledgeable healthcare partner.
This is a hands-on role requiring someone who can navigate complex partnerships, inspire teams, and deliver tangible commercial outcomes.
Day to day responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
1. Drive Revenue Growth Across Channels
- Own the PMI, Cash Plan & Dental sales pipeline, proactively supporting AEs and KAMs to win new deals and grow existing clients.
- Identify and execute cross-sell opportunities, ensuring PMI and Dental are consistently positioned alongside other YuLife offerings.
- Support key sales projects & initiatives such as Bupa 100 & Cash Plan Launch
2. Strengthen YuLife’s Healthcare Expertise
- Lead training and enablement sessions, building sales confidence and embedding PMI knowledge across Direct, Advisor, and Partnership teams.
- Serve as YuLife’s go-to healthcare expert, offering guidance on product complexity, competitor insights, and switching strategies.
- Provide hands-on deal support, especially for complex PMI switches, to remove barriers and drive conversions.
- Collaborate with Bupa & YuLife Partner marketing teams on joint collateral (e.g., joint pitch decks) to streamline messaging and sales conversations.
3. Deepen Collaboration with Bupa
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key Bupa stakeholders
- Act as the central point of contact between YuLife and Bupa for sales, and client onboarding.
- Work closely with Bupa to understand target cases and align on our joint ICP
- Identify opportunities for Yulife to strategically align with Bupa. Present opportunities internally with an aligned business case.
4. Channel Specific Impact
Direct Team
- Build relationships with Bupa’s Sales Team to improve deal flow.
- Support Direct AEs with 1:1 coaching, catch-ups, and deal reviews to close PMI and Dental opportunities.
- Drive cross-sell initiatives, such as adding Dental to every PMI quote.
- Improve forecasting by introducing a Bupa-specific deal tracking system.
Advisor Team
- Expand collaboration with Bupa SME and Corporate teams, including BDMs and Virtual BDMs.
- Support advisor teams with PMI opportunities, leveraging Bupa’s existing relationships.
- Position YuLife as an integrated healthcare solution, aligning insights and data to increase client engagement and renewals
The ideal candidate will have:
Essential:
- Proven experience in strategic account management or partnership leadership, ideally within the health insurance, PMI, or employee benefits space.
- Strong commercial acumen with a track record of driving revenue growth and managing complex pipelines.
- Excellent relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders across multiple organisations.
- Deep understanding of PMI and/or Dental products, with the ability to simplify complex concepts for sales teams and clients.
- Experience delivering training and enablement to build confidence and capability in others.
Desirable:
- Previous experience working with Bupa or similar large-scale healthcare providers.
- Familiarity with SaaS and technology-driven insurance propositions.
- Strong knowledge of compliance and advisory boundaries within PMI sales.
